About Muhammad Javed;

Muhammad Javed is a renowned painter, curator and writer from Pakistan. He is practicing since his graduation in Fine Arts from National college of Arts, Lahore in1962 and has nine Solo Shows at his credit held in the country and abroad in addition to his regular participation in the group exhibitions. In 1989 he received Annual Distinguished Artist Award from MIT, USA. He is a well-travelled artist and has earned legendary position among the artists community of the country.

In 2013 a book A Man of the Arts-Muhammad Javed edited by Dr. Shaukat Mahmood comprising views & reviews of different prominent art critics and writers was published on his life encompassing plus five decades of his career as painter, which also reflected history of Pakistani art. Another book on his work and life is being published containing thesis for M Phil done by a research scholar from University of the Punjab in 2017.

Muhammad Javed has curated more than 150 exhibitions of artworks and has written articles on art and artists. He is also teaching art to the selected students.
